Description |
Thembisa is a school for severely
Intellectually disabled learners aged 6 and 18.
We are situated at Winnie Mandela Informal Settlement
and we cater for 278 learners from Tembisa, Ivory Park,
and Rabies Ridge, Mayibuye, Phomolong and surrounding
areas.
Learners are taught according to the GDE RNCS. Basic
literacy, Numeric and life skills.
Occupational skills are also taught
e.g Bead work, Sewing, Candle, Baking and cooking wood
we have a Bus and are still in need of buildings
